Submissions Still Open 

JOWESS (Journal of West European Social Sciences) is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal operating under a continuous publishing model. 

Article submissions are still being accepted. With our Quarterly publishing concept, manuscripts are published as soon as they complete the editorial and peer-review process and become publication-ready.

JOWESS welcomes research across the Social Sciences, including (but not limited to) sociology, psychology, philosophy, history, geography, urban studies, women’s studies, cultural and religious studies, anthropology, archaeology, public administration, business, economics, law, political science, communication sciences, educational sciences, fine arts, music studies, literature, linguistics, tourism, and gastronomy.

• Submission languages: Turkish and English

• Review model: Anonymous author / anonymous reviewer (double-blind) 

• Access model: Open access

Authors are expected to upload required files such as an author header file, copyright transfer form, plagiarism/similarity report, ethics committee permission when applicable, and the receipt/proof of payment. Manuscripts should be uploaded in two versions: author-identified and anonymous for double-blind review.

As stated on the journal’s Payment Policy page, a publication fee of 75 USD or 3,000 TL applies once a submission passes the editor’s preliminary screening and is deemed suitable for peer review.
